Nesta oficina vamos aprender técnicas básicas de escultura e reprodução de objetos.
Vamos fazer moldes em alginato a partir de objetos reais e produzir cópias em gesso. O processo inclui preparação do molde, vazamento do gesso e acabamento das peças.
Não é necessária experiência prévia.

In this workshop we will learn basic techniques of sculpture and object replication.
We will make alginate moulds from real objects and produce plaster casts. The process includes preparing the mould, pouring the plaster, and finishing the pieces.
No prior experience is required.

ANA SANTOS

Ana Santos (Espinho, 1982) vive e trabalha em Lisboa. É licenciada em Artes Visuais pela Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto e mestre em Cultura Contemporânea e Novas Tecnologias pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Estudou na Academia de Belas Artes de Karlsruhe e foi residente no ISCP em Nova Iorque. Em 2014 recebeu o prémio EDP.
Realizou exposições individuais em instituições como o MACE (Elvas), Fundação Carmona e Costa, Culturgest, Centro Botín, CentroCentro e MAAT. O seu trabalho integra a Coleção Serralves e foi apresentado também na Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian em Paris. Recebeu a Bolsa de Artes Plásticas da Fundação Botín (2019-2020).
A sua prática centra-se na forma como os objetos são produzidos e organizados no espaço expositivo, no cruzamento entre desenho, objeto e pintura, explorando a relação entre pensamento e ação na criação de estruturas formais simples e precisas.

Ana Santos (Espinho, 1982) lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Porto and a Master’s in Contemporary Culture and New Technologies from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She also studied at the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts and was an artist-in-residence at ISCP in New York. In 2014 she received the EDP Award.
She has presented solo exhibitions in institutions such as MACE (Elvas), Fundação Carmona e Costa, Culturgest, Centro Botín, CentroCentro, and MAAT. Her work is included in the Serralves Collection and has also been shown at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Paris. She was awarded the Botín Foundation Visual Arts Grant (2019–2020).
Her practice focuses on how objects are produced and arranged in the exhibition space, operating across drawing, object, and painting. She explores the relationship between thought and action in the construction of precise formal structures.
