The residency programme
The residency programme is the same for all disciplines and is built around four pillars.
Individual projects
Curatorial follow-up of each artist's project throughout the residency, logistical support and help with local resources.
Group of creatives
The residency is an opportunity to live in a community of artists from different disciplines, to share knowledge and to collaborate.
Community
Two workshops a month are open to the public, and resident artists can take part at a 50% discount. Artists are also invited to share their work in sessions with local schools.
Territory
Once a month, residents join the Arraiolos embroiderers for a free session at the museum. We also organise field trips and walks to natural and historic sites in the region and to get to know local traditions.
Each residency ends with an open studio and a professional photo shoot.
